September
We would like to thank Rick Ellis and his partner Susan for steppi ng up and providing the BBQ lunch for us. It was awesome!!

Weather
Weather guessers predicted 0% chance of rain, with a high of 83 degres. Turned out to be very sunny and it warmed up quickly. The wind also picked up out of the north, with some occaisional gusts. This made for a north bound take off and immediate racing. This is the pilots' favorite take off.

T-28 Class

Heat 1:

Three pilots competing today. This heat of the race was uneventful with KC pulling out in front right away. The finish line saw KC first, Duane second, and Geo third.

Heat 2:

Three again this time but, as KC went to break ground he lost his prop and didn't get airborn. Duane managed to stay out in front of Geo came in first with Geo Second.

Heat 3:

KC is re-propped and again racing. Again KC pulled out in front and probably would have lapped us had he not cut the next to the last pylon. KC still managed a first place, with Duane second, and Geo third.

T-28 Wrap Up: All in all a good day there were some other cuts, didn't note who or when, but everyone had a good day. Too bad we didn't have more T-28s out there racing.

Reno Class

Heat One:

There were four Reno pilots today. Rick came in first, John second, Greg third, and Geo fourth. There were cuts, but I didn't get who or when written down. Action was too fast to catch it all

Heat Two:

Rick came in first, Greg second, John third, and Geo fourth.

Heat Three:

Rick first, John second, Greg third, and Geo fourth. Just like that racing was over in a flash!

Reno Wrap Up: Some fast laps, no crashes, and no warnings for safety line violations, but plenty of action on the course. There were lots of cuts, but I didn't get who or when written down. I think everyone had at least one cut sometime today!
