May Play-by-Play

Overview
I arrived at the field about 8:15am to find a good wind blowing, cloudy, and misting rain. Weatherman predicted 85% chance of rain. It rained slightly on and off and we waited until 10:00 AM, by then the wind had increased and we were getting some rain now and then. Competition Saturday in May was cancelled by a majority vote of those pilots present at the time based on bad wind and rain conditions at the field. I do know that a couple people stayed and planned on trying to fly a couple flights between the wind and rain. I packed up and went home where it was warm and dry.
