Overview
I arrived at the field about 8:15am to find a wind blowing, bright sun, and many already there flying. We had a good turn out for the day
Weather
Weather predicted 0% chance of rain, with a high of 88 degres. Turned out to be very sunny and it got hot quickly. The wind blew rather strongly down the runway with ocaisional shifts to cross wind gusts. We were able to do a north bound take off meaning we were racing at take off. Lap one.
T-28 Class

T-28 Wrap Up: All in all a good day there were cuts, There were crashes, but everyone had a good fun day.
Reno Class
Heat One:
There were six Reno pilots today. Rick came in first, Greg second, Terry third, John fourth, Geo fifth, and KC finished sixth. There were cuts, but I didn't get who or when written down.Heat Two:
This was an interesting heaat. About the third lap Rick and Terry collided coming out of the south pylon. Terry ended up crashing right in front of the finish line. Rick made a large arc to north east and ended up beyond the north pole judge about 200 hundred yards out. Now both top racers are out of this heat. The finish was Greg first, John second, Geo third, and KC fourth.Heat Three:
Out come the back up planes and the race is on again. Terry first, Rick second, John third, Greg fourth, Geo fifth, and KC sixth.Reno Wrap Up: Some fast laps, some crashes, and some warnings for safety line violations and plenty of action on the course.
