2023 Racing 

October Play-by-Play

Overview
Competition Saturday in October was a beautiful sunny warm day with not a cloud in the sky and no wind. This was the last race day this year. Overall we had a nice turnout of competetitors and spectators today enjoying the weather and lunch.

We ony had four racers in T 28 class so we had just 1 section of 3 heats.
Reno had six pilots, but KC declined to race today. Reno pilots elected to have only one section with five flying.

Weather
The weather was a beautiful sunny warm day with no wind at all making for immediate racing upon launch.

T-28 Class
Four T-28 pilots began the race day in the T-28 class of racing.

Heat 1: Section 1, Terry took first with KC in second and Geo 3rd, followed by Duane in fourth.
Section 2, No Section 2

Heat 2: Section 1, Terry took first with KC second, and Geo in third, and Duane fourth
Section 2, No Section 2

Heat 3: Section 1, Terry took first with KC in second, Geo third, followed by Duane in fourth.
Section 2, No Section 2

T-28 Wrap Up: I think I can say we all had fun. There were a couple of cuts, but I didn't record them for reporting here. There were no incidents or crashes today. The weather was beautiful today with full sunshine, 70 degrees and no wind.

Reno Class
Reno class had six pilots, but only five that competed today.

Heat One: Rick took first Terry was second, Greg third, Geo fourth and John fifth.

Heat Two: Rick again took first followed by Terry in second, Greg was third, Geo fourth, and John fifth.

Heat Three: Rick took first followed by Terry in second, John third, Geo fourth and Greg in fifth.

Reno Wrap Up: These guys were fast and furious today. There were no crashes or incidents reported however! There a few cuts and once again I failed to write them down so I could report here.
