August Play-by-Play
by Duane Barrett, Contest Coordinator
Overview
Competition Saturday in August was slightly overcast day with a slight wind out of the north/south, changing every so often. If you missed out on the August racing then be sure to turn out in September as there are only two more race days this year. Overall we had a nice turnout of competetitors and spectators today enjoying the weather and luch.
With ony three racers in T 28 class we had just 1 section of 3 heats.
Reno had six pilots, but Bruce was unable to start due to mechanical issues today.

The weather was mostly overcast sky for the morning, with a fairly light breezy wind shifting directions every once in a while.

T-28 Wrap Up: I think I can say we all had fun. There were no incidents today. The weather was overcast today and the wind tolerable, we did get a few sprinkles but nothing we couldn't tolerate. We are going to have to deal with Geo in the future, he is really getting in there.
Reno Class
Reno class had six pilots, but only five that competed today.
Heat One: Rick took first Greg was second, John third, Enie fourth and Geo fifth.
Heat Two: Rick again took first followed by Greg in second, John was third, George fourth, and Ernie fifth.
Heat Three: Rick took first followed by Greg in second, Ernie third, John fourth and Geo in fifth.
Reno Wrap Up: These guys were fast and furious today. There were no crashes or incidents reported however! Once again Geo is getting in there and is going to be a pilot to be dealt with in the future.
