June Play-by-Play
by Duane Barrett, Contest Coordinator
Overview
Competition Saturday in June was beautiful blue sky with a slight wind out of the north/south. Only four of the
T-28 racers showed for racing, including the new guy, George. Interest in racing has really declined as of late. If you missed out on the June racing then be sure to turn out in July. With ony four racers we had just 1 section of 3 heats.
Reno had four pilots show up today and compete.
Weather
The weather was mostly blue sky and beautiful for the morning, with fairly breezy wind shifting directions on us every once in a while. The pilots elected to take off to the north with immediate racing and then land based on the wind direction at the time.
