Hawker Hurricane
Paul's new construction project is a Hawker Hurricane. The ESM kit has an 82" wingspan and Paul says it will be powerd by a Hyperion 4045 electric motor with 10-S 5,000 mah batteries.

"I flew the Hurricane yesterday. The maiden lasted only about rive minutes. The winds were quite gusty and the plane was quite tail heavy. We actually took the balancing jig out of the trailer and verified the CG. The plane showed nose heavy. We removed 7oz of lead to get it slightly nose heavy. Soon as it came off the ground I knew I was in trouble. It seemed a little under-powered but I'll reserve that judgement till after I get it flying correctly. I stalled it once and recovered, spent a couple more minutes lining up for a long straight-in approach. It is balanced as per the instructions. Guess the next move is to go on RC Universe and see where the other guys are putting the CG at."
