April Play-by-Play

Overview
I arrived at the field about 8:00am to find a mild wind blowing and slightly cloudy. Weatherman predicted no chance of rain. We had an awesome turn out for today. By 10:00 AM, the clouds were gone and we had a sunny sky still some wind. If fact the wind was getting stronger. Competition Saturday in April was an awesome day for all. Thank you to everyone who turned out to support us this year. We had about 28 people counting all the spectators and racers.

Weather
Sunny about a 7 to 10 mph wind blowing the right way, so we took off for immediate racing action.

T-28 Class

Heat 1, Section 1: Terry first, John C. second, Tom R. third, Geo fourth, Dave H. fifth, and Marlon sixth.

Heat 1, Section 2: No Section Two.

Heat 2, Section 1: Terry first, John C. second, Dave H. third, Geo fourth, Tom R. fifth. and Marlon sixth.

Heat 2, Section 2: No Section Two.

Heat 3, Section 1: Terry first, John C. second, Geo third, Dave H. fourth, Tom R. fifth, and Marlon sixth.

Heat 3, Section 2: No Section Two.

T-28 Wrap Up: Out of the fourteen (12) who signed up to race this year we had seven (7) show up today. Race coordinator choose not to fly today so we only had one section of six airplanes. We flew today without pylon judges on the honor system and the CD's calls. I believe that everyone had a good day today. Good turn out and thanks everyone for your support.

Reno Class

Heat One: John first, Terry second, and Geo third, there were only three flying Reno today.

Heat Two: Terry first, John secnd, and Geo third.

Heat Three: Terry first, John secnd, and Geo crashed out during the heat and went DNF.

Reno Wrap Up: With only hthree planes flying today things went pretty quickly, but I'm sure everyone had a fun day. Thanks guys for coming out and joining the fun.
