2026 Racing 

October Play-by-Play

Overview
I arrived at the field about 8:00am to find three pilots already flying, not all were racers. Weatherman predicted cloudy and only a 5% chance of rain, but we had a mostly sunny day. By the time racing started the wind was about 6mph and in the right direction for immediate racing. We had a good turn out for today. The last Competition Saturday of 2026 was an interesting day for all and a fun day, though there was some carnage today. Thank you to everyone who were kind enough to show up and support us today. We had about 18 people counting all the spectators and racers.

Weather
Mostly sunny with about a 5 to 7 mph wind blowing the right way down the runway for immediate racing. Perfect weather fo us.

T-28 Class

Heat 1, Section 1: We had six pilots so we only had one section. Terry first, Rick F. second,  Dave H. third, Geo B. and Dave H. collided, 3rd lap and Geo crashed out while Dave was able to continue. John C. also crashed out about the third lap coming out of the north pylon turn and that left Marlon finishing fourth.

Heat 1, Section 2: No Section 2

Heat 2, Section 1: Terry first, Rick F. Second, Geo B. third, John C. fourth, Dave H. fifth, and Marlon sixth.

Heat 2, Section 2:  No Section 2

Heat 3, Section 1: Terry first,Rick second,  John C. third, Geo B. fourth, Dave H. fifth, and Marlon sixth.

Heat 3, Section 2: No Section 2

T-28 Wrap Up: We had six pilots for today's racing. We flew again today without pylon judges on the honor system and the CD's calls. Also No streamers since we had no pylon judges. Back to having more fun racing and less restrictions. I believe that everyone had a good day today. See you all next season.

Reno Class

Heat One: Terry first, Rick second, John C. third, Geo fourth.  

Heat Two:  Rick first,  John C. second, Geo third, and Terry and collision with someone and crashed out.

Heat Three: Terry first, Rick second, John C. third, and Geo fourth.

Reno Wrap Up: With only four planes flying today things were a little easier to watch everyone at once. There were only a couple called cuts during the racing and the pilots flew excellent racing. We flew Reno also without pylon judges and on the honor system and the CD's calls, also No streamers.   Thanks guys for coming out and joining the fun.
